Hello, I’m Rob and I am a qualified Dog Behaviourist & Trainer. I am also the the co-owner of a company called Exclusively Dogs, which I run alongside my wife, Katy.
I have always had a love for dogs, and my career in the world of dogs started when I joined Dogs Trust as a Canine Carer back in 2006. I adored this job, because each day I was helping to make a difference in a rescue dogs life. It was due to my time at Dogs Trust that inspired me to learn even more about what makes our dogs tick. I can honestly say that my life since Dogs Trust has been consumed with learning as much as I can about our beloved four legged friends, and yet I still want to learn more!
I have a passion to pass on my knowledge to guardians, to enable them to understand their dogs better, and build an even stronger relationship. Our dogs support us in so may ways, and all they ever ask for in return is your love and respect. I love that my job involves harnessing this relationship.
When the opportunity presented itself to become the co-founder of Mad For Dogs CIC, I didn’t have to think twice. I have always wanted to provide dogs with a safe space, to enable them to take some time out, and help to create unique partnerships between dogs and their guardians.
This is extra special to me because there has always been a military presence growing up, due to my Dad and Uncles serving in the Scots Guards. To now have the opportunity to give back and help veterans who have paid the high price of PTSD because of their service in the military, is very important to me.
